Virginia LOVES Memphis. She loves the Grizzlies, she loves the community, she loves the music, and everything else there is to love about the city. She did the Memphis Teacher Residency and stayed beyond her contract commitment, because she loves the children of Memphis and wants them to succeed. She's definitely the algebra teacher you wish you had in high school.
I met Virginia at the University of Arkansas (go Hogs!), where she studied architecture. She now lives in the cutest 100-year-old house. She is incredibly handy and the best with design. She also throws awesome parties. In fact, whenever I have a party, I get Virginia to help me out with decorations and ideas, because she's always the most creative.
She is also hilarious, as you can see by her Halloween costume this year. So to get to know Virginia is to be on an always-adventure!
Virginia grew up in Memphis. She has 2 other red-headed sisters. She is very involved in her church, and helps out with everything from childcare to missions.
